Biography
Beckwith was born January 2, 1952 in Tyrone, Pennsylvania.
A graduate of Tyrone Area High School in 1969, he attended Penn State University and received a degree in aerospace engineering in 1972. Also in that same year, he graduated from Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Virgina.
He had Naval fight training in Pensacola, Florida in 1973 and received an honorable discharge from both the Air Force and the Marine Corps.
Works at SAG-AFTRA, Works at Sony Pictures, Studied BS Aerospace Engineering at Pennsylvania State University, Studied Pilot Training at Naval Flight School.He had his theatrical debut in a Jon Voight production in 1974, and his first television credit was in the 1976 TV movie The Lindbergh Kidnapping Case. He was married in 1978 and separated 30 days later. He was co-owner of a vintage clothing store on Sunset Boulevard.
